Saturday didn't go our way, as our Mosman 3rd were bested by Fairfield-Liverpool 3rd in one to put behind us.
Fairfield-Liverpool 3rd batted first and reached 7/236 from 50 overs. Credit to Brett Newman, who made a half-century (68) for the hosts. Private player returned figures of three for 49 off ten overs.
Our chase ended at 172 from 44.4 overs. Elliot Evans brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 52 off 67 balls. Rajprasanth Varatharajah bowled well for our opponents, taking three for 10.
There were some good individual efforts to build on. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon.
Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
