It was smiles all round as our Mosman 5th took care of Northern District 5th with a fine team effort.
We batted first and put 4/275 on the board from 50 overs. Noah Quayle was the star with the bat, compiling an excellent 111 not out off 63 balls with seven fours and nine sixes. Ethan Blount posted a half-century, making 70 off 116 balls with five fours and two sixes.
Northern District 5th were all out for 203 in 45.4 overs in reply. Credit to Alish Hirani, who made a half-century (57) for the hosts. Ben Fisher contributed 32 for our opponents. Our best with the ball was Alexander Burke, who took three for 47. Yohan Goradia claimed two for 27 as well.
A well-deserved win for the team. Congratulations to the side on a cracking result.
