It was a tough day out for our Mosman 5th, who fell to Sydney 5th in NSW Premier Cricket (Men's).
With the bat, we made 7/234; Sydney 5th made 6/235. Ethan Blount was the star with the bat, compiling a superb 102 not out off 183 balls with five fours and two sixes. Fifty for Fraser Pandit, who finished with 57 off 69 balls. Shaurya Bhardwaj did the damage for the hosts with three for 72.
Our best with the ball was Luke Anderson, who took two for 72. Vishal Soni made a polished 66 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. We'll go again.
