There was no joy for our Mosman 4th, who fell short against Manly Warringah 4th on a day to learn from.
It finished 205 to 8/206. Toby Seward posted 70 not out for Manly Warringah 4th, a polished fifty. Our opponents were well served by Finlay Jenkins, unbeaten on 33. Vaibhav Manikandan returned figures of two for 19 off ten overs. Cruiz Barton weighed in with two for 26 off eight overs.
Preston Lee's 53 off 64 balls was a half-century to remember. Sam Wright added a useful 40 off 38 balls. Five wickets for Thomas Walker of the hosts, who returned five for 31. Seward added three for 25 for our opponents.
That's four losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard. On to the next one.
